2011年版《大纲》突出了对考生应用表达能力的要求，将对考生的能力要求细分为A、B、C、D四个等级。
相关成考辅导老师介绍，与2011年前的考试相比，新版大纲对作文的难度要求有所降低，写作部分不再要求掌握“常用应用文(通知、申请书、感谢信、求职信、启事)”的写作要求和基本表达方式;删除了“联系实际选取独特角度，写出内容新颖、见解深刻、生动形象、富有文采的文章”等要求。但由于作文题目由两篇变为一篇，实际上也降低了容错率，考生要对作文给予足够的重视。
作文题是如何“做错”的呢?考生常出现的问题是审题不清。尤其是年纪较大的考生，上学时往往接触命题作文较多，而现在话题作文则成为了各类语文考试的主流形式。

策略一：书写工整。判卷老师不会给一回份阅读都很困难的作文答打高分的。
